My husband and I have lived in Harlaxton for the last 12 years and our two daughters go to Harlaxton C of E Primary school.

After growing up in Nottinghamshire, I moved to Newcastle where I got my first teaching job and began my first Assistant Headteacher role. I then spent two years in Oxfordshire before taking on my current role at Gonerby Hill Foot CofE Primary School 12 years ago. I have served as Associate Governor for GHF for the past 10 years. I am driven by a passionate for improving children’s opportunities.

When I am not working, I love to spend time with my family and friends as well as going on adventures and exploring new places.
